As Europe gradually begins to cool down (hopefully) and 2020 continues to hurtle by at a record pace, we find ourselves getting increasingly excited about the new winter outerwear collections.
After weeks of relentless temperatures, thoughts of autumn getaways with cosy walks in nature somewhere and sitting in front of a fireplace with friends are very much on our wishlist right now. Added to those must-haves will be pieces from the new Research Collection by urban outerwear brand, Colmar Originals.
The collection plays on futuristic heritage, applying modern techniques and technologies from the world of skiing to its famously recognisable existing collections. The improved insulation as a result of a process that involves blowing down into the jackets and locking it in with special adhesives, rather than creating additional seams, makes us excited to let these adorable jackets hug us through colder times.
Our favourite from the men's collection is the black 'techno shearling', made by bonding a stretch fabric and a warm teddy bear effect through the use of foam. The jacket has been treated so it is completely water repellent. Perfect for walking carefree in the rain.
High on both style and performance, the Research Collection is definitely one to get your hands on in the coming weeks.
