Words Nicky Gray
Take us back to the 1990s, a time when three lions were on the pitch and Britpop was playing on all the good stereos. Streetwear brand Pretty Green has collaborated with iconic sports label Umbro to create a capsule collection that transports us back to those fun times, infusing vintage sportswear with a healthy dose of Gallagher style rock 'n roll.
Throw your minds back to Oasis's legendary packed gigs at Maine Rd in 1996, when Liam Gallagher wore an Umbro football shirt, created for the Euros that same year. This iconic piece forms the backdrop of the collection, updated by Pretty Green and brought into 2019 with an all-over signature paisley design. The collaboration between Umbro and Pretty Green should reignite our love for both football and music as passions intrinsically linked. Now pass me a copy of (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, please (on CD of course).
The collection is available to purchase here - you can take your pick from drill tops, parkas and football shirts.
