Together, we make up for lost time. We run across sand dunes in brightly coloured pyjamas. We sprint to the sea, revel in its life force. In West Wales, we are transported by BBG x MBP competition winner Leia Morrison to a homage of lost youth, as Morgan, Alfie, and Cai take back the years wrongfully claimed by lockdown.
Here, today, we are free. Cable knit caresses the skin of weathered necks, and paisley-patterned waistcoats frame the sun-kissed stripe of arms that haven’t seen the elements in a while. Slowly turning from cream to pink, these zebra lines are a fitting tribute to the years we have all experienced. The transition from inside to out, from confinement to fresh air, from solitary to brotherhood.
And even in this moment of chaos, this explosion of energy, we walk a balance of locomotion and stillness. Grains of sand stand fast along the shoreline. Yet the ocean moves, ebbing and flowing like the hours in a day. What we do with this time is ours. We spend it wisely, hold it like a trophy. For we are already tomorrow’s nostalgia.
Leia used used 3 lenses for her Sony a7iii- a 35mm, a 50mm & an 85mm and an SD card all from MPB in this series.
