Photographer Ieva Lasmane remembers the moon. We all do.
A time barely forgotten, the magic of midnight twisted and turned; hours late transformed into dawn. In this new story, we find three creatures of the night, models Alfie and Marcus at Select Model Management and Farhan at SUPA Model Management, illuminated under the cold light of day.
Morning casts a jealous shadow. Is it the creeping sense of guilt, induced by daylight, that sets the night owl apart from the early bird - two surely incompatible existences? Yet in these private frames, we seem to stumble upon something that shouldn’t be: the night owls have flown too far from the nest. Now stuck in suspension. Paralysed by the sun.
Stylist Asier Rodriguez arms the boys with the uniform of abandon. Oversized, structured, and layered is the manifesto of these night-time revellers and their larger-than-life habits. Sharp lines set against a soft woodland somewhere as if landed in the wrong chapter of a storybook; the nostalgia of twilight is lived in the boys and these looks. A time to be bold and fearless. Clothes for the courageous. It is a statement of midnight: we remember the moon.
