A disquieted mind pines for solitude: a sacred glade in the thicket, or a citadel beneath the crest of chaos. One can reside in the mind, but only project outward. A pantomime existence. A forager of both truth and fantasy. The artifice? Become acquainted with both, to effectively distinguish between. The purpose? Lucidity– lucidity amidst the dense thicket and chaos of human volatility.
Straying from the conglomerate noise of the crowd, Joe (Menace Models) finds his voice in the quiet of the glade. A hand to cold stone. A weathered monument. A long lost narrative engraved. What was this place? What had been forgotten? Sunlight splinters and casts shadows– fragmented light and darkness. There was a soft hum of a symphony – but it was not the chant of popular ideology. Nostalgia implodes. The voice was mine.
Jade Danielle Smith creates a hazy dichotomy of sunlight-drenched serenity and invigorated motion. In flushed torrents of rapture, terrestrial frontiers are breached. An alliance of skeptic and dreamer. In agrarian tribute, and a spilling of spring into summer, fashion editor Nathan Henry selects tanned leather garments and woolen jumpers. Threads are dyed in vibrant shades, like a Michelangelo painting, but with the celestial stroke of the surrealist. Reawakened, in wide-eyed reverie.
