BBG x MPB Talent Search

In proud partnership with MPB, we are launching our first talent search. Founded in 2011, MPB are the world's largest online platform for used photography and videography equipment, transforming the way that people buy, sell and trade in photo and video kit whilst paving the way for a more sustainable future.

In collaboration with the brand, we are offering £3,000 worth of MPB equipment to be rewarded equally amongst three winners to call their own. Alongside this, the winners of our talent search will receive mentorship from a professional photographer within the BBG family. The winners will also each be invited to shoot exclusive content to be hosted on the official channels of BBG and MPB.

In a time where everything we thought we knew has been turned upside down, for this talent search we are stepping away from the world of fashion to open up to the power of storytelling in its limitless colours. We also want to make our time spent on this planet as meaningful as possible – and through recycling and reusing photo equipment, this can be achieved. MPB works to recirculate more than 300,000 items of used kit every year, extending the life and creative potential of equipment for creators worldwide. It's why we hold a partner like MPB, and this prize offer, so dearly.

To enter:

• Deliver a photo series of six images related to the idea of sustainability and recycling. This can follow BBG's principal language of fashion, or you can shoot documentary style. The choice is yours. We want you to see each frame as an opportunity to create a meaningful, cohesive story.
• This talent search is open to female/female identifying photographers.
• Send submissions alongside contact information to contact@boysbygirls.co.uk under the subject line of 'BBG x MPB Talent Search'.
