BBG Loves: Parajumpers AW21

4 August 2021

"The men of the 210th Rescue Squadron, based in Anchorage, Alaska, are highly trained for extreme rescues and recoveries in the wildest, most remote, and hostile corners of the Globe."

Better trained than any other military corps, this group of individuals use their skills and techniques to save lives. It was from this inspiration that Italian brand Parajumpers was born. No wonder, then, that for AW21 we are thrown headfirst into the ever-enduring culture of the Alaskan landscape, defined in this latest collection by durability, versatility, and evolution. We're here for it.

Evolution in the Parajumpers universe looks like 'Featherweight': a totally new addition to the Fleeces and Knits collection which impressively blends fleece and jacket to create an ultra-light puffer crafted Pertex and bold colours for extra statement.

Just in time for the winter season, we're also excited to see the brand explore garment-dyeing as a core feature of this collection. Take a closer look at the captivating marble effect, especially in the 'Fisherman' and 'Moonstruck' colours which we can already picture bringing an unexpected twist to the usual winter palette.

Whilst practicality and comfort are the name of the game, we're sure that even the men of the 210th Rescue Squadron - the Parajumpers of Alaska - would approve of the added luxury of choice and touch that the brand has brought to AW21 knitwear, like the Basic 12gg which is crafted in merino wool this year. Super soft and comforting.

If this collection doesn't inspire you to brave the winter weather in search of the nearest mountain to climb (or failing that, your local park!), we don't know what will.
